WhyRobotsMakeBetterLovers

2010 — performance/installation - dimensions and duration variable

WhyRobotsMakeBetterLovers was performed over two weeks in February/March, 2010 at Regina's Globe Theatre. Each performance was responsive, with elements of the piece being directly or indirectly affected by the presence of the spectators. Composed of fragmented vignettes rather than a single narrative, the work was recompiled in a different order each night, depending on audience behaviour, attitude, mobility, and engagement. Certain elements of the space were also audience-triggered. A collaboration with dancers Johanna Bundon and Barbara Pallomina, 'Robots' explored the programmatic tendencies of human relationships and mortality.
