Palliative Care (1985-1992)

2016 — wood, paper booklet, DVD (SD video, colour, stereo, 25:00)

Edition of 20, +AP

Every reference to death found in The Golden Girls, compiled in order of original air date. The pastel, 1980s-Floridian setting provides a backdrop for a mantra that vacillates between earnestly fearful pathos, and uncannily synthetic laughter. It offers a meditation on ageing, mortality, finality, and absence.
