Taking pains to mimic the wardrobe and rain-soaked visage of the midcentury journalist (or possibly travelling salesman) I deliver a text that draws a single, looped line around the seizures of consciousness (memory, nostalgia, and other conceptual blind alleys) and the spasmodic interruptions of the body.
